The bustling food central of Japan, Osaka, have a lot of signature dishes. Anyone who has walked through the main Dotonbori streets would have spotted the many takoyaki stands across the strip, each accompanied by their very own octopus mascot.

This packaging design takes a pop-art inspired approach to bring the lights of Osakas food stalls and their love of the eight legged friend. Hachi means "eight" in Japanese, a quirky coincidence which also happens to be the standard serving quantity of the takoyaki balls.
This is Taako!
